Itinerary

Day 1
Transfer From Tehran to Garmabdar

Transfer from Tehran to Garmabdar, hiking toward Lar Valley through the Khatun Bargah pass. We were hiking toward the valley and alongside Lar River to Kamardasht Plain.

Drive distance: 60km on the road, 2-3 hours

Trek time: 10-11 hours

Day 2
Hiking to Vararu Plain

Hiking on a steep road to TorshakChal pass and then down to Vararu plain, on this day there would be free time for refreshment and recovery and enjoying the Western view of the glorious Mt. Damavand.

Day 3
Hiking to Chamanbon Base Camp

Hiking the last part of the trail on the Western slopes of Damavand to the North at a high altitude up to 3650 m then down to our portable Base Camp called Chamanbon.

Day 4
Trekking to Nandal Village and Driving Back to Tehran

After breakfast start trekking to Nandal, we will see and photograph the view of the large glaciers of the north of Damavand. With a happy heart that has been obtained from turning around Damavand, we anticipate that we will drive to Tehran through Haraz Road.

Trek time: 4-5 hours

Drive distance: 145 km on road, 4-5 hours
