Damavand Mountain Eco Camp
Damavand Mountain Eco Camp is the first and only professional mountaineering complex in Iran which offers several services to enable the mountaineers to climb Mount Damavand on N orth-East route.
The complex consists of two camping places in the North face of Mt. Damavand. The first one or Base Camp is located in Nandal village at 2300 m over sea level and it’s accessible via a paved road by tourist vehicles.
The second one or Advanced Camp at altitude of 4350 m is located on North-East route.
In Eco Camp the services are based on Sustainable Development Principles with no environmental damage. The camp is in harmony with nature and benefits local communities.
Damavand Base Camp Facilities
Base Camp is located at Nandal village in the North Face of Damavand, 2300 m above sea level, in 600 square meter ground including a 110 m2 building and a 490 m2 yard. The camp with an exclusive view of Mount Damavand and equipped with facilities such as 12 custom made tents, kitchen, dining room, fireplace, arbor, garden, bathroom & toilets is ready to welcome mountain climbers.
Advanced Camp Facilities
Damavand Advanced Camp is made at Takht-e Fereidoun area, at altitude 4350 m above sea level, on the North East route of Damavand peak and used as the second camp during the ascend for climbers. The camp is seasonal & temporary, equipped with 10 accommodation tents, dining tent, kitchen and dry toilet. The camp is active from June to September.
